Bacteria and fungi can be the source of expensive problems for hospitals and healthcare facilities.
On August 26-29, 2009 Nanopac was commissioned to end a fungal outbreak at the Paediatric Institute of Kuala Lumpur's General Hospital. Walls within the hospital were heavily infected with Fungus and our anti-microbial treatment readicated the outbreak completed.
Since the successful completion of the project, we continued monitor the status of the hospital with the Malaysian Ministry of Health and no recurrence of infection has occurred since the treatment six years ago.
Nanopac commissioned on Ambulance Coating project for the Ministry of Health in Malaysia.
In 2009, Nanopac provided anti-microbial surface coating on its the Ministry's fleet of 100 ambulances. Prior to the coating, pre-cleaned surfaces were already accumulating bacteria. After coating, the readings presented a 99% reduction in bacteria.
The entire Ambulance interior is coated with a hybrid Nanotechnology Coating which eliminates fungus, bacteria, VOCs and Odours. The Airconditioning system features a Nanopac Airconditioner Filtration System.
The coating actively works against bacteria for two years after the coating has been applied.
