Nanopac's airconditioning filter systems are designed to inhibit fungal growth, destroy bacteria, removing harmful VOCs and nasty odours in the process. The filter systems do not void warranties and are suitable for application on new and existing systems.
Nanopac HVAV AirConditioning Filter SYSTEMS
These Anti-Bacteria, Anti-Fungal, Anti-Odour solutions can be applied to Airconditioning systems during manufacture, or applied to systems that have already been installed.
HVAC Filter PARTNERS
With strong R&D ties to universities and research centres around the globe, Nanopac products have seen growth in consumer electronics, agriculture, healthcare and hygiene industries. Its industry leading Air filter technologies have a been commissioned by a range of air-conditioning brands.
Some of our major clients include:

HITACHI JAPAN/THAILAND
NANOTITANIUM WASABI AIR PURIFYING FILTER
Nanopac worked closely with Hitachi to develop its Nano Titanium Wasabi Air Purifying Filter. Nanopac was awarded the prestigious Hitachi Malaysia Best Business Partner Award in 2011, for its operational ethics and for its reliable, cutting edge technologies.
Nanopac offers two solutions for augmenting existing airconditioning systems.
1. Nano HEPA-SOL Solution, which is a liquid which sprayed onto existing filters. Such a process is applied by our clients above, or
2. HAF filter, a temporary replacement filter pre-coated with TiO2 solution made to the specific size of your Airconditioning systems.
Malaysian Ambulances use Nanopac Airconditioning Filter System
After Nanopac successfully curbed an outbreak in one of Malaysia's biggest hospitals, the Malaysian Ministry of Health commissioned Nanopac to treat and coat its entire fleet of Ambulances. The interiors were fully treated with Nanopac technology, and Nanopac Filter Systems were installed inside the Airconditioning units. View the Case Study here.
Research by the Environmental Protection Agency in the US, found the air inside the average home to be up to five times more polluted than the air outside.
In Australia, little research has been done on the air in our homes, workplaces and cars, but we do know that poor indoor air quality has significant adverse impacts on health.
Gas cookers and unflued gas heaters are a major concern and as buildings have become better sealed from the environment, pollutants released from indoor sources (such as formaldehyde) are being found at higher concentrations.
Is your Air Conditioning making you sick?
Heating, cooling and ventilation systems contribute to unhealthy air by harbouring mould and spreading other harmful biological pollutants like bacteria, viruses, pollen, dust mites and animal dander. A dirty ventilation system means dirty air.
A ventilation system that cleans the air
Nanopac High Flow Filters (HAF) and Filter coatings not only stop the growth of moulds within the system, they actively remove and decompose pollutants, bacteria and odours. Nanopac filter products keep air systems clean on the inside. They can be applied to any kind of indoor situation including industrial buildings, offices, homes or vehicles.
For manufacturers and suppliers of HVAC systems, Nanopac offers a great way to add value to your product.
HIGH FLOW AIR FILTER (HAF)
High Air Flow HAF air filter media is a frameless self-supporting electrostatically charged filter media with an array of flow of channels incorporating microstructure technology. Ideal for applications where low flow resistance is the most desired feature.
Features
- Ready coated with Nanopac blue Titanium Dioxide.
- TiO2 inhibits fungal growth on the filter and purifies the air by removing VOCs and absorbing odours.
- Anti-bacterial and Anti-allergen.
- Electrostatically charged surface for increased particle capture.
- Open channel structure for minimum impact on system air flow.
- Available in a range of thicknesses.
- Self supporting (no frame needed)
Applications
- Air conditioners
- Cooling Fans
- Electric Air Cleaners
- Vents (passive, convective or motor driven)
- Dehumidifiers
- Electronic or Optical Devices
- Automotive Cabin Air
- Compressors
Performance Testing
Testing by the Kitasato Research Centre of Environmental Science in Japan found that Nanopac treated filters removed over 99.99% of influenza virus type A (H1N1), 99.99% of E Coli and 99.99% of Golden Staph (Staphylococcus aureas) after 24 hours of contact.
